Thank you for your interest in "FREE Camping in Arizona" and all of our family friendly, Boondocking DVD Videos guaranteed to keep your costs low. Since being married my wife Karolien (a native of South Africa and experienced Safari guide) and I love to go camping. There's nothing better or more peaceful than being out in open nature taking along all the comforts of home in a recreational vehicle. Now our doors are open to you. Since 2001, we have enjoyed producing this project, and know you will have lots of fun taking your families, friends, and Scouting Troops to these special places too.

Upon completion the entire Arizona series of 7 to 8 video disks will cover every corner of my home state. As a second generation native I am thankful for all this wonderful state has to offer and am glad to share it's many special, hidden places that only natives know about. My only wish is for you to enjoy camping out at these precious areas and respect them. Take especially good care of them so that we may all come back time and time again in the future with our children's children.

The first two exciting DVD's cover the Central Arizona landscape. The third and fourth DVD's are due out later this year or in 2010 and entitled; "FREE Camping in Northern Arizona Parts One and Two." They will include rare footage around the majestic Grand Canyon of the Colorado River where I once worked as a bellman for the Fred Harvey Lodges, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, and the Navajo and Hopi Nations, as well as the gateway city of Flagstaff and it's mile high attractions.

These disks are geared towards those with Recreational Vehicles, thus the common term of Boondocking is used. Referring to camping "AT LARGE" usually for FREE, in or around designated sites that do not normally have any water hookups. Taken from the Philippine, (Tagalog) root word "Bundok" or literally "out in the mountains!" As RV owners, we would always wonder where we could fit our 28 foot rig into, before setting out. Well, these informative segments take all the fear out of it. If it is a little tricky to get into we let you know before hand. Best of all, it does not matter if you have a pop up or a camper shell, a class A, B, or C, toy hauler, or fifth wheel. For those of you "TENT" campers since many of these sites can host a large motorhome, they are perfect for any family traveling in cars to enjoy as well.

Afterwards, Four Peaks, Roosevelt Lake, the Sierra Ancha Mountains near Young, Sycamore Creek, Mount Ord, and Bushnell Tanks - along the Beeline Highway. Then north into Payson, Strawberry, Fossil Creek, and areas around Christopher Creek (including the popular summertime destination of Woods Canyon Lake, high atop the Mogollon Rim inside the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest where overheated Phoenicians have flocked to for years).

Heading north out of Phoenix "Boondocking/FREE Camping in Central Arizona Part 2" leads off running where disk one left off. Routes include: Bumble Bee and the historic mining town of Crown King. After that, cool off in Prescott as Ben catches his first fish and Bryce hikes around Goldwater Lake, followed by Granite Basin and Lynx Lakes and a special tour of Courthouse Square. It doesn't stop there, we travel through Prescott Valley up to the top of Mingus Mountain and over to the hillside artists' community of Jerome. Then on to other prime FREE camping locations in the Prescott National Forest, before taking a ride in Clarkdale on the Verde Canyon Railway, and ending up in Sedona's Famous Red Rock Country! "Your Guide to FREE CAMPING in the Grand Canyon State" culminates with segments that are south of Interstate 40 inside the Coconino National Forest near Flagstaff and Williams.
